Yogyakarta - Hujan deras mengguyur wilayah Yogyakarta sejak subuh hingga siang hari ini. Warga di sepanjang bantaran Kali Code siap siaga mengantisipasi terjadinya banjir kiriman.
Berdasarkan pantauan detikcom, Kamis (5/5/2011), warga di enam kecamatan yakni Kecamatan Jetis, Gondokusuman, Danurejan, Gondomanan, Pakualaman dan Mergangsan terutama di sepanjang bantaran Kali Code bersiaga. Kampung-kampung tersebut antara lain Jogoyudan, Tukangan, Terban, Ledok Jagalan, Prawirodirjan dan Tungkak Karanganyar.
Di beberapa ruas jalan yang sudah terjadi banjir lokal antara lain Jl Colombo, Karangmalang dekat kampus Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), dan depan Ambarukmo Plaza (Amplaz). Banjir lokal ini disebabkan luapan air hujan yang tertampung di saluran air.
"Tadi pagi memang ada penambahan air tapi tidak terlalu besar," ungkap Cahyo salah seorang relawan yang tengah memantau ketinggian air di dekat jembatan Prawirodirjan-Surokarsan kepada detikcom, Kamis (5/5/2011).
Menurut dia, semua relawan dan warga telah bersiaga sejak pagi sekitar pukul 06.00-08.00 WIB. Sebab saat ini timbunan material pasir yang memenuhi sungai sudah mendekati tanggul, akibat banjir lahar dingin beberapa waktu lalu.
Dengan bantuan peralatan komunikasi berupa HT (Handy Talkie), warga yang berada di sepanjang bantaran Kali Code dan Kali Boyong yang merupakan hulu Kali Code saling memberikan informasi. Ketinggian air juga masih dalam batas normal dan masih jauh dari tanggul.
"Karena hujan terjadi pagi, lebih mudah memantaunya dibanding saat banjir pada hari Minggu malam kemarin. Semua warga juga sudah siaga," katanya.
Sementara itu penerbangan di Bandara Adisutjipto Yogyakarta juga masih tampak normal. Beberapa pesawat mendarat dengan normal sejak pagi.
